Scottsdale, Northeast Phoenix
& Fountain Hills
Upscale Suburban Living
The northeast quadrant of the greater Phoenix metro
area offers an opportunity to enjoy an upscale
suburban setting. From the “Old Town Scottsdale”
clubs and restaurants, to chic hotel resort
surroundings, to recreational opportunities,
shopping, and some of the finest residential living
in the valley, this part of the valley offers
variety and excitement people travel thousands of
miles
to enjoy! Best of all, it’s yours to have every day
of the year!
South to North, Scottsdale is over 30 miles in
length and is an environmental wonder. The green
irrigated south side environment progresses to the
natural high Sonoran desert setting, where the
cactus and coyotes exist among planned gated
communities and horse properties. Fountain Hills and
Carefree are very desert-like and feature a rolling
terrain in a higher elevation with some of
the best mountain views in central Arizona. Paradise
Valley is lush desert and homes are
generally built on one acre plus lots tucked between
mountains and fine resorts.
As of June 2004, the median sales price of a single
family home in south Scottsdale is in the $185,000
range and in North Scottsdale it is $420,000. Prices
for Paradise Valley are generally $1M plus, with
Carefree in the $500,000 plus range for single
family homes. Fountain Hills offers a full range of
prices for condominiums and single family homes from
the low $100s to $600,000 plus.
New lofts and towers are completed and planned for
the Old Town Scottsdale area beginning in the low
$300s. The Scottsdale Lofts are ready for occupancy
now, the planned Main Street Plaza in the arts
district will be comprised of 175 low-rise
condominiums, while the twin 14 story towers near
Fashion Square will offer doorman style luxury high
rise living.
Don’t despair! Single family residence prices begin
in the $160,000s with apartment style condominiums
starting in the $90,000s and townhouse style
condominiums in the $135,000
range in the more historic south Scottsdale
neighborhoods.
Come and visit; you’ll agree, it’s a great place to
call home!
