The Greater Phoenix Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce is proud to represent the GLBT business community in the greater Phoenix area. In this website you’ll find information on our organization, our members and our community.
GPGLCC has established itself as one of the most outstanding GLBT Chambers. We are proud and honored to be the recipient of the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce 2005 Chamber of the Year Award. To be known as the best GLBT Chamber of Commerce out of the over 42 in the United States is a real tribute to the dedication and involvement of the GLBT community of Greater Phoenix.
In just a short time GPGLCC has made so much progress. We made history this year by entering into a unique Alliance between our organization and the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce. This first-of-its-kind Alliance gives our members access to a number of networking and business education opportunities, as well as access to the vast resources of GPCC.
GPGLCC has aggressively gone after the GLBT traveler as well as those interested in relocating to the Phoenix area by placing national advertisements and publishing the 2006 Visitor and Relocation Guide. Requests for the guide average over 50 per week and come from all over the world. This emphasis on travel and relocation has brought major attention to GPGLCC and brings customers to our members in the form of tourists or new residents looking for realtors, mortgage lenders and other services.
When it comes to promotion, besides the published directory and online listing, there are Netmixes, Monthly Breakfast, Lunch and Dinners. We also have a monthly Out and Equal mixer that promotes networking between Corporate Pride Groups. These often informal meetings give members a chance to meet other members, network and socialize.
